CHARLOTTE, NC - There are not really even very good stats out there, but some say 1 in 15,000... others say 1% of 10,000. Those are the odds of healthy equine foals. Well, Erin Woodbury's BWP mare, Utah, is 1 for 1. On April 16, 2011, Utah gave birth to two healthy IDENTICAL twin fillies!! Welcom to Reno and Tahoe. Reno was born first but Tahoe is the larger of the fillies. The twins shared the same sack so when it was burst the second one started having trouble. The cord was wrapped around both of them and it got pretty crowded in there! Thankfully, Erin and the vet staff were there to help and both fillies are strong and healthy. Congrats to Erin, Utah and Gatsby... (We told Gatsby but he didn't really seem to care. Men!)
